The Molino del Feo is a unique 30,000m2 estate surrounded by the San Juan River, just 1 hour from Madrid. It is a haven of tranquility and beauty framed in the middle of nature, among forests of holm oaks and oaks. It has 2 independent houses with a lot of charm. The main one is a 19th century water mill distributed on two floors. In this rental ad only the main house and the other would be closed, guaranteeing privacy and exclusivity.The spaceLocated in the middle of nature, for lovers of tranquility and privacy, just 1 hour from Madrid and 15-20 minutes from unforgettable villages such as Sepulveda and Pedraza. The surrounding area is known as the Molino del Feo, because that's what they called their first miller. It consists of two very cozy houses, surrounded by 3 hectares of land and isolated from any other inhabited area. The property is surrounded by the San Juan River that helps the guest relax with its lulling sound. The river has abundant flow all year round, and flows below the house. From the property you can see the mountains, the river and forests of junipers and oaks: nothing else.The houses are only rented for a single group, in view of privacy and tranquility. You can rent only the main house (3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms, large living room and kitchen) or both houses together (the secondary house has 2 bedrooms and two additional bathrooms).The main house is the mill itself. It is distributed on two floors and the structure is made of juniper wood, with exposed pillars and beams, and the pleasant and characteristic smell of this wood. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. Downstairs is the living room, kitchen, and another full bathroom. It has two fireplaces that are ideal for relaxing on colder nights. The secondary house was an old loom and now functions as a bedroom house. It consists of two double bedrooms each with its own bathroom, and a small living room with a very comfortable double sofa bed. The beds in the rooms can be assembled and dressed as single beds (190x90) or double beds (190x180). The mattresses, bedding and towels are of excellent quality. The Molino del Feo is an exclusive opportunity to relax, blend in with nature and have unique experiences with those who accompany you.Guest accessTHE ESTATEThe 3-hectare estate allows you to lose yourself in the middle of the deepest nature and disconnect without leaving the premises. It has different enclaves where you can enjoy the passage of time, either alone or in pleasant company, with specific places to see the stars, observe the fauna or simply be in silence and with your senses alert. AROUND THE HOUSEThe mill's water catchment is designed to form a rustic and comfortable natural pool. Bathe in the fresh, clean water as if you were in the river, but with the comfort of being in a natural pool (NOTE: The natural pool is under construction, to be completed by the end of 2019. Currently you can bathe in the river next to the house, although the water reaches the waist at most. Otherwise, there are several wonderful natural pools in the area, between 5 and 15 km by car). The surroundings of the house have areas enabled for lunch or dinner. In the front garden there is a covered gazebo for about 12-14 people where you can eat and dine on the less cool nights. In the back garden there are tables and benches that are accessed from the kitchen: they can accommodate about 10-12 people, and it is ideal for breakfast. Both areas are lit at night. SURROUNDINGSAs soon as you leave the property you can take nice walks without meeting practically anyone. There are multiple hiking and biking trails. The Sierra de Guadarrama is also very close, if you want more demanding excursions.Other things to noteBecause of its location on the river slope, the Mill belongs to that scarce and bucolic 1% of Spanish territory without 3G coverage.
